1. About these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you (a parent or legal guardian, “you”) and SJ SOFT TECH (“we”, “us”, “our”), the provider of the “KidooTech” mobile application (the “App”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Who may use the App

• The App is intended for children ages 3–10, used under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• A parent or guardian must set up the App, manage the parent PIN and settings, and is responsible for their child's use of it.
• You confirm you are at least 18 years old and are the parent or guardian of the child using the App.

3. Parental controls & supervision

The App provides parental controls, including a parent PIN, daily time limits, feature toggles, and an activity view. These tools are provided to help you, but they do not replace your supervision. You are responsible for choosing appropriate settings and for supervising your child's use of the App.

4. Buddy Chat

The App includes friendly characters (“Buddies”) your child can chat with by tapping prompt bubbles. Buddy Chat runs entirely on the device using a fixed, pre-written library — there is no artificial intelligence and nothing is sent over the internet. The replies are for fun and learning and are not a source of factual, medical, educational, or professional advice. We recommend young children use the App with a grown-up nearby.

5. Ads and purchases

• The free version of the App is supported by child-directed, non-personalised ads.
• The App may offer optional one-time in-app purchases (for example, to remove ads). There are no subscriptions.
• All purchases are processed by the app store (Google Play) under its own terms. Refunds and billing are handled by the app store according to its policies.
• Please use the app store's parental purchase controls to prevent accidental purchases by children.

6. Acceptable use

Please use the App only for its intended, personal, non-commercial purpose. You agree not to:

• copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or resell the App or its content;
• attempt to disrupt, hack, or overload the App or the services it relies on;
• use the App in any unlawful way or in violation of the app store's terms.

7. Content & intellectual property

The App and its content — including artwork, characters, stories, sounds, and design — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. The stories inspired by classical epics (such as the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Bhagavad Gita) are simplified, kid-friendly retellings shared with respect; they are not religious or scriptural texts and may differ from traditional or regional versions. No disrespect is intended to any belief, tradition, or community. Drawings created by your child on the device belong to you.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the App will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, or that the buddies' replies will always be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to the App or these Terms

We may update, improve, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and reflect them in an App update. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.
